Exclamation What in the world is going on?

Bike: 03 600RR
This is some scary stuff thats going on. Luckily it has never happened in a corner. I have a ticking time bomb every time I take my bike out and it is consistant. About 10 minutes into every ride my warning light pops on with a combined sudden loss in engine power so that my ride goes into engine braking for whatever gear I'm in (which can vary between an annoyance in 6th to scare the stuff outta me in 2nd). This all occurs in the span of about 1-2 seconds. The warning light then turns off, engine power comes back but is bogged down to what seems 70% of normal power (even idling at about 70%)and throttle gets real touchy as it seems the EFI is rebalancing itself. That takes about 5 seconds. After that, and up to that point, the bike is fine for the rest of the trip no matter how long that trip is. Anyone heard of this before?

So i've done so more trial and error trying to duplicate the problem. It only happens when I'm steady on the throttle below 6k RPMs. Anything above that and I haven't had a problem. Does this shed light on this for anyone?

I don't know much about the capabilities of the electronics system of the bike. Would I have to duplicate the malfunction or does that information get stored to be accessed later?
