Question clutchless shifting

Hi Fellas! Can anybody tell me what the longterm consequences are for up-shifting without the clutch? Also, are the new bike trany's designed to be up-shifted w/o the clutch? And if so, what is the best method of clutchless up-shifting (pull back on the throttle then up-shift, just up-shift w/o pulling back on the throttle) Please adivse as some of my riding buddies tell me that it's OK and others tell me its not. And others even tell me that you can just up-shift w/o the clutch in full throttle?

I posted a thread about this a while ago, and I guess I wasn't the only one to do so. The "Search" function on this site works wonders, you should try it sometime's a link to the thread:
