Motorcycle stand questions

I am looking to get some motorcycle stands and am wondering what the best ones to buy would be. I would rather spend more money and get a better product than be cheap. I am going to be using them between two different bikes so they need to be tough. thanks.

Honestly it is metal piping so it is kind of hard to find one the is superior in quality to another.

I realize that but there can be significant differences in strength depending on the type of steel, construction, weld quality etc.. I am looking for some general opinions on stands that people have used or do use and are very happy with them. In other words I am trying to make an informed choice somewhat based on general consensus. But thanks for letting me know that steel is strong.

Wow!!! Anyway,I'd say the most loved and recommended stands in the world are Pit Bull. I've owned them and must agree the quality is second to none. Right now I have Vortex stands and I like them better simply because they are less expensive, are high quality, have wrench holders built in,have four large wheels instead of two, have an easily removable handle-to get it out of the way. Several people have ranted and raved about T-Rex stands. They are very inexpensive and are reported to work the same as PB/Vortex stands.

personally if I was buying stands right now,I'd have to try the T-rex stands. They look good, have a strong rep and MAN! that pricing is nuts!
