When you replace the air filter, see how it runs. If it is idling to low turn up the idle adj screw, left side of the bike. I checked the Power Commander website and looked at the maps for your bike. I'm sure that you are ok to ride the bike until you can afford a PC. It's going to be a little peaky and the off idle response will suffer but over 7-8000 it's gonna go! I'd say just take it alittle easy until you can have it remapped. Make sure you take it out and get familar with it's new characteristics.

Gee thanks, mate! Hey,I'm downloading a repair manual for you right now. I could only find one for a '05,I'm hoping that's ok. I'm not 100% how Kaw models run for that bike. At any rate, they're still quite informative. If you PM me an email,I'll shoot it over to ya! Oh wait, they're free for up to 3 heck you can download it yourself, here's the url,

Crickey!!! Oh well,I can't spell it! There's a number of companies here willing to ship to you in Ireland.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Power...mZ360057199562

These guys have a good rep! The shipping is about $80,so you get out for under $400 anyway. Have you checked international ebay or whatever it's called?

Otherwise,I have a friend at this dealership, who'll cut you 20% on the price of the unit or about $260 plus shipping. $340 at most. This is their website

https://www.ronayers.com/index.cfm

BTW all you have to do is sign up at the repair manual club and you can download, otherwise,if you pm me your address I can send the service manual for a 2005 ZX6R that I have anyway.... Otherwise,I can get you the right manual but it will take some time...
