Replacement Tires for Nighthawk 700S

I recently purchased a (vintage) '85 Honda Nighthawk S. Really clean with ~4,500 miles. Still has stock tires with good tread, but need to be replaced due to basic safety concerns and probably much better tire technology available today. They are smaller sized 16" wheels: Front Ė 110/90-16, Rear - 130/90-16. Similar to what the Ninja 250 runs. Any suggestions for a good all-purpose sport tire? Considering Pirelli SPort Demon or MT45, Bridgestone BT45, Dunlap GT501, Metzeler Lasertec,... Live in Phoenix, so wet performance is a low-priority. Thanks!!

I realize this post is old..but no reponse at all is why I registered on this board.

I've run Battleax (Bridgerocks) on my 700SC for some years, like them a LOT. The DTC wears well and does not sacrifice performance (as much performance as the 700SC puts out anyway). My preference is 40psi..I've tried everything up to max. More harsh than 36/38..but more tactile while being neutral in handling at the same time.

I just turned 65K over on my '86. While far from the realm of the R1 and its bretheren, it's a good machine!

Love those hydraulic valves! No shims and buckets!!

Good luck.
