Is my CBR california?

Ordering a jet kit for my 98 Honda CBR 600F3 and there are three kits to choose from. One being regular and the other California. Not sure how to figure this out? Dealer can't tell me and there's no VIN look up on Honda's site. The manufacturer ID and plant are Japan based on the VIN code, so I'm guessing it's not California, but just want to make sure. Anyone know how it's marked on the VIN sticker? Thanks.

I would think that the VIN tag would state that it had CA emissions if it was a CA model.

Yeah, me too. Just being anal. Dynojet offers two seperate kits depending on which one you have. I know with our MA cars, the emissions are usually the same standards as CA, so wasn't sure. Thanks for the input, though.

I dint think it matters where the bike was sold. What will count for a jet kit is where you intend on operating the bike. If in Cal, you will need to pass the test to ride on the road after mods are made.

Ohhhh...gotcha.
No smog test on bikes in MA, yet. Thanks for the clarity.
