Clip link type?

Hey guys, been a while, but I have a question: I am looking for a new chain for my Ninja 250, and have found an affordable one, but it is a clip type master link. Are these bad? I have heard to avoid clip links, but the chain is cheap. What do you guys think for a 250? Would it be ok?

I have used both clip and rivet links. I used clip links and safey wired them for years before I bought a chain break/rivet tool.

If you properly install a clip link and keep it maintained, you should have no problems
