Questions about a 1985 ninja 600

ok i had a few questions about my 1985 ninja 600.
1. how much would it cost for a kawasaki dealer to clean and tune my carbs?
2. what does this thing (lever) do that is coming out of my rear shock?VVV

3. my throttle cable is coming out of the bok on the handle bars and it requiers an extra quarter to half turn to take up the slack, can i get it to stay in place?VV

i would appreciate the help. thanks

the cost of a carb clean depends on what the labor rate is in your area but you can probably count on it costing you at least 4 hours

there is an adjustment for the throttle cable. it's the regular looking nut and the long looking one. loosen the jamb nut and turn the long nut out then retighten the jamb nut

oh, the rear shock knob. I'd say that was for rebound or compression

It ain't easy being GREEN

Looks like Damping Force Adjustment. Adjust it higher for harder or high speed riding. (Or riding with a passenger.) My factory manual reccomends pos. 1 for an average-build rider with no accessories.
