What to use for cheap gasket.

So I just got a parts bike for my 94 yamaha seca II it has the engine completely apart and I would like to get it back together but dont want to spend $200-$300 on oe gaskets and it not run. Would the liquid silicon gasket maker do to put it back together and maybe get it running. The gasket Im worried about is using the silicon for the head gasket and being to much pressure and it blowing. Does anyone know really how strong this stuff is? This parts bike does not have a title so Im just planning on putting it back together and using it for a dirt bike around my woods.
