Gaskets?

Ok so I got a complete parts bike for my 94 yamaha seca II. Supposedly the engine was\is blown because the po put to much oil in it and it sucked it up above the piston rings and wouldnt start after. The po has already taking the whole engine apart and I have it and can not find anything wrong. Piston rings are great and the carbs are clean. So Im wanting to put it back together but dont want to spend $200-$300 on gaskets and it not run, which lead me to my question. Do you think the liquid silicon gasket maker will work just fine to try and get it running. It has no title so Im just planning on if I get it running putting dirt bike tires on it and ridding it around the farm.

Any input would help, thanks.
