Spark Plug fouling issue

Just bought a 1983 Honda Nighthawk 650 this weekend. It's my first bike.

When I bought the bike, the owner mentioned that he had a problem with the spark plugs fouling time and time again. He had the carbs professionally cleaned, and I think rebuilt, but I'll double-check on that.

Any thoughts as to what to check next?

Well it is fouling for a reason.... rich mixture..too much gas or fouling due to oil.... Do a compression check or leakdown test to see the condition of the pistions, rings and clinder walls. OK..it can not tell all, but it is a starts...

What do the plug look like. There are hundred of picture posted of sparkplug fouling...find one... AC or Champion web site...match the pics to your plugs....

Cheers Mate !! Are6rider.... I am not pro...just a guy that like to ride...
