Windscreen

I need some advice, I wanna get a new windscreen for my Kat. Im thinking just a basic black tinted one would look cool, and do me just fine. But I really like the look of the chrome windshield's as well. Are they high maintenance at all? Hard to keep clean? scratch easy?

Sport Tech makes Kat screens..lots of members on KP have them..they look real sharp.

Yeah, Im taking this whole mod thing and running with it..so need some advice

I like the looks of a custom screen, I think chrome or mirrored would be difficult to take care of.

I like the mirrored shield, but I don't know about scratches. I would think that the tint would be on the inside...hmmmmm

not that hard to take care of. If you get a scratch you can pull it off with a plastic scratch solution.

the only bad thing to chrome imo is you can't see thru it in a tucked position

matt looks like the mod bug bit ya

pick out..yes, pick up, no..wife told me I had to wait for christmas/birthday for all the mod work to start..cuz 1. she doesnt wanna any down time since the guaranteed riding season is on the last month or so..(she loves to ride) and 2. she wants to be able to get me something I'll use for birthday/christmas.. so, I'll wait for another month or so..and trustme , as I start working on it, they'll be pics galore!!

oh btw..the clear alternatives are the ones Im getting.

You better not forget the house. You know how women are about getting their homes when they want it. Mine won't let me forget about it.
