How to change the rear sproket

Are there any write ups on how to change a sproket on the rear of a 1993 gsxr 1100?

to TWF

If you can remove the rear wheel, you have the hard part done. The hub just pops out and you unbolt the old and replace the new. Pick up a shop manual for your bike. That will help the most. + you really need a rear stand to make things much easier.

Search eBay for GSXR manual.
You can usually find a reproduction on CDROM for cheap. You can view them on your PC or laptop and print out individual sections for shop references.
Ill see if I can find some good links for the older Gixxers too.

I got my manual from ebay. If you can't find one there try google. Its a little more difficult to find a manual for a motorcycle than a car. Let us know if this does'nt produce any results, we can figure something out.

Changing the rear sprocket is fairly easy. Take the rear wheel off the bike. Take the bolts off the sprocket, then place your new one on and bolt it down. Then put the rear wheel back on, align the chain and tighten properly. You're set to go.

They advertise a manual for up to 1992 GSXR 1100 here.
It should be close enough to get the job done. If you contact them. They may have or could get one for the right year. You can even go to your local book store and order on for your bike too.

You could also try to get on a GSXR forum and do a search for manuals. I printed out my R6 manual for free!

I've been searching some old haunts and so far only found some parts list. I know there is a freebie out there somewhere.

Here ya go. Hopefully it's in there somewhere. You might want to make this a sticky for all the other people, Jeeps.

yeah that's like me trying to find a manual on my firebird today online. No luck...just parts list. I just need to call my dad and have him look it up in the manual since he has a 99 and the manual is the same for the 94. I just need to know how much is involved in replacing the valve cover gasket on that car.
