Yeah... I've replaced mine with a Yuasa and its been crap within a year. I should be able to let my bike sit for over a week and not have to worry about it needing to be jumped!

I wonder if you had a short somewhere?! NO battery no battery should drain that quick no matter how sh*tty. Is the guy that bought your bike still arround here? wonder if he's still having trouble with that?

yeah it is... but if it was a short it'd kill even the strongest battery... did you ever test the battery on the bike with a meter?

Nope but the dealer did and said it was the detector... oh well... I can't do anything about it now!

well I'm not sure... but if it's shorting out... the OFF switch has little to do with it... but yeah it's hard to say...

The 9 had a bad short. It was between the seat and bars.
