Chain/Sprocket calculator

TY now i know the i did the right thing to make my bike faster on take off, everyone was telling me i did the right thing and the wrong thing. my bike came with 15/42/520..i did the convertion to 525/14/43.

Well the only thing you did wrong is go up in chain size... why would you go up from a 520 to a 525?
