Can't be too major, the valves don't have to be adjusted until 25K miles or so.

My bike is almost due for the 14000 mi service 2004 suzuki. My shop said it is a 4 hour service including the valves checked and a long list of other checks, including changing all fluids, spark plugs ect.So i am looking at $220.00 plus cost of the parts needed,Oil filter plugs ect.Not to bad IMO.

and if its not. It should be.

The owners manual and or shop manual would give you a specific break down of what is supposed to be done and when.
