What are velocity stacks going to do for my bike?

Ok just wondering what velocity stacks are going to do for my bike. Also am I going to need to do any map tuning? What HP gain might I see? Will it be a noticeable difference?

They help direct air into the carbs/throttle bodies. With proper tuning, You should gain some dyno HP but very little seat of the pants HP.
