batteries?

Well i just had a problem with my batter on my 2004 RC51 and like a bumb A** i left it in the bike over winter and forgot all about it. i was dead of corce. got it on a chager and it didnt do nothing to the battery. then when in to the dealer and ask for a battery for the bike and the first thing he told me is how much money i brough with me? form the sound of that i was like ahhh S***. he told me a battery for that bike is $120 . i almost died . then he told me that you can try this battery charger that should bring it back to life because a normal battery charger wont charge the battery the right way. It has some kind of programed charging system. so 50 buck later i hope it woks.

Optimate 3 its called wondering if aynone else has one or heard of it?

if your battery sat all winter with a load on it...I would say it is dead and you won't get it back...If it is sealed, I once took one and shook the bejezers out of it and then put it on the 2 amp for about two days...it came to life just about enough to get to the shop for a new battery...

i told him that it better be made of gold for that price.

Ya its crazy but the charger that i bought worked. I looked into a bit more and the normal car chargers that we all have just wont work with these kind of batteries.
