Need a mirror boot

I noticed the rubber boot that hides the hing/breakaway mechanism on my '99 SV is cracked. It's made of rubber and it's always garaged so I'm not sure how that happened.

Where can I get a new one?

i was ebaying for myself and did a search for you real quick. Nothing for Curvy SV's yet. I even had a hard time finding the part in microfiche.

Could you just armoral it?

Either way I'm sure your dealer could get you the part. I know for my 9R they could sell you each individual nut, washer, screw, and bolt!

Or take this as a reason to get some aftermarket mirrors!

It probably comes as a complete assembly. Bet you have to buy the whole mirror.

I haven't been able to find anything.

The mirrors have (what looks like) oxidized over time, so I wouldn't be against replaceing the whole thing, but then I'd have to do the pair. And the cost for that because of a 1/2" tear seems a little extreme.

Have the dealer bring up you mirrors on the screen, it will show part numbers for each individual piece
