just a couple of questions?

im new here and dont own a a bike,i am a car enthusiast own a car club and every thing, well i spend alot of moneyonbills and every thing and i get my income tax back i get $2,200 and was wondering if i amgonna be able to find a 1996 to 1998 suzuki gsxr 750 for that much i dont care if it is stock when i get it but would i find one for that price, i wanna learn to ride seems fun and i always had a fettish for the gsxr's, and if i were to get one were would i find performance stuff and and stylin stuff like frame extensions and carbon fiber stuff. i would appreciate any help im just not sure if ima be lucky to find one for $2,200

My buddy's 99 R6 only had just over 5K on it. And he bought it brand new. It's possible.

Yeah, i'm afraid you're out of luck for $2,200. Maybe get a loan and use that for a down payment.

i might be starting a new job in a month and half making 15 n hour instead of 9,so if i save up bout 4500 i should be able to find one that runs and looks good,im not worried the guy next door to me own 4 bikes and paints bikes so as far as looks he can fix easy but i want one that is gonna run real good im not looking for a new model i want an older model like 96 or 98 i like the roundclean look on a bike cant stand the squarish look, was planning on stretching the frame lowering it custom paint job and adding performance parts,and believe mewheni start getting into doing performance ima need alot of tips and help, im not planning on buying it til january but i figure i could learn as much as i can before then. and i appriciate every one who is helping me right now.

If thats the case maybe you should get a cheap crashed bike...what the point of buying a nice one if your gonna tear it down anyway?

So he might find one in that range. Or a salvaged title bike. For 4500 though you can get a sweet bike in that year range.

Looks good, but realize the power in a 750. Take time to get to know it. And if she starts to get away from you DONT PANIC, just ease back off the throttle and focus on steering her.
