all busa issue...

for the few hayabusa enthusiasts we have in here that may not know this already, 2 wheel tuner magazine's september issue out now is an all hayabusa issue. if you love the busa, this issue is for you. it's chock full of lots of eye candy and mods for the big bird. snatch it up now before the new issue comes out...

If your a Busa fan, Its cool.
I'm personally disappointed with this issue. Might not be so bad if I got one every month but it sucks when bimonthly mags dedicate to something that's not of my interest.

yeah, it's not my bag either. besides, busas already take up most the pages in these tuner mags anyways. as 2WT said in it's defense, busas are the most easily customized bikes out there with the most available accessories. they don't give preference to any specific bike. so we need to start getting other models to step up to the plate and get to work. i'm looking forward to joe dirt's kawi in an upcoming issue. that'll be a refreshing change from the usual busa/yams.

Sorry guys about the Busa fad. I was looking at that mag tonight at the book store, it has some pretty nice pics, but I couldn't imagen doing all that stuff to a bike. Theres no point in riding it anymore, when one rock chip cost $350 in paint to fix. I'll stick to my stock one for now so I can enjoy the road.

no need to apologize. i just wish there were as many available accessories for my bike. it seems that manufacturers only find R6's worthy of customization. we just need to broaden the market a bit, that's all. include all makes and models. until that happens, there is gonna obviously be a breed specific dominance. i can appreciate all the work and $$ that goes into modding a bike though, regardless of the make or model.

I had a hard time finding customize items for my bike once the 600RR hit the street, but that's why I chose to have a lot of items custom made.

I believe there is an old phrase "You can't please all of the people all of the time." As the editor did mention, the Busa is the most widely modded & supported bike out there nowadays. It's become the new chopper, amongst the cruiser set. With such a large base out there, how could a magazine in all honesty not address such a crowd? As pointed out, there seems to be at least one or two in each issue anyways. Why not make an issue just on the equipment to get into Busa riding, to mod one, then show some bikes to give some ideas? Some were plain ridiculous like the wolf bike, to the nicely done stock looking bike, till you checked out the gator glass logos.

Looking at the work done on those bikes, a lot of it was mods that the riders themselves had worked out, so I'd think an all Busa issue would inspire all those who don't ride Busas but want the same love would do the same self inspired modding. In other words, if you want the creative look on your bike, and manufacturers don't support your bike, look at that Busa issue, and realize that shouldn't stop you.

I don't own a Busa, but with all the new riders that have come along in the last year and went out & bought a Busa... I'm thinking that the Busas that do survive this riding season are going to be up for sale early next year and I may consider getting one for a decent price.

I grabbed the issue and loved it. I've had a bike that they didn't make any mods for and that sucks. Now I have one that has endless upgrades and mods. when buying a bike that should be one of the factors.

When I had my RC-51 I never could find any pics in any mags . I don't own it anymore, but I would love to see an issue with just those babies.
