Not to happy with tank protector

I just put on a clear tank protector... Iím not all too happy with it. The bike is red and you can see little pockets of air and crap like that that wont push out. Does any one have pics of any other tank protectors on a red tank? I donít think I will like how black looks, and some of the nudie ones seemed interesting, but I thought they would look cheesy... donno, options, opinions and pics requested please.

I've got a (real) carbon fiber one that the previous owner put on it, and it's awesome. It's good-sized, but very simple in shape (and I'm prone to wearing belt buckles, etc... and don't have any damage to my tank, so it's doing it's job).

(I don't have a red tank, but carbon fiber looks good with anything!)

What color is your bike? Is it all red, or is there another color too? I had a black one on my old bike and it looked nice.

Mine is clear so the paint shows through it.

lOOKS LIKE THE RIGHT SHOULD BE ON THE LEFT. So the flat edge will go against the fat edge of the big peice. Still looks good though.

Instructions could have been wrong, but I followed them. I wonder, if I try to turn them around, will still stick to the tank?

No, imagine the right side lifted off and placed where the left one is. Vice versa with the left one.

Yeah, they do look like they are reversed. I never noticed it before.
So if I pull them up they wont stick anymore?
