The bike has done about 60000 Kms on the it.

It seems the connecting rod has come loose and ripped open the engine casing. If you look closly you can see the connecting rod in the pictures.
Suzuki's do burn oil quickly and at times too quickly does the oil thin out causing the bearings to weaken and at times come loose.
I have seen it many times before and have rebuilt a few engines who blew in the same way. This is the first time it happened to me though
Repairing or opening it, will not really be worth it. It will be better to get a second hand engine and installing it.
At the moment i found one fully loaded with stage II web cams, AR pistons, And APE modded Crankshaft for an 2002, i didnt finalize it with him yet but i think he is asking for $2000.00 for it.
I found a cheaper one on Ebay with Yoshi drop in cams for $1255.00 i think, but im always nervous about the scams on Ebay.

I am Used to things breaking, unfortunatly my WALLET isnt
If i do think of repairing this engine it will cost an arm,leg and a few other pieces..

But you also just picked up the busa... so your throttle hand won't be lonely... could just sit on it. Or part it out for cash to mod the busa or 750.

I do know that my 03 would spit out excess oil if over filed. If I filed it level with the line on the sight glass. It would spit it out till it was slightly below that line and stay till I changed it.

I have no idea, but maybe its due to heat

I opened up the engine and here is what i found, the clutch basket was the thing that screwed it up.

The clutch basket broken sending a huge piece into the oil pan which was picked up by the connecting rod and it actually was wegded in there..the connecting rod could not go anywhere at that high RPM other than thru the engine casing denting my pocket
