Go to your DMV or tag office. If you know the original seller, ask for a lost title application. If not, you'll have to apply for a custom or salvage reconstructed title.

If the bike was never titled at all you can get a bond for title.

I'm not 100% positive but I think once you get the bond you take that to the dmv and they issue the title.

anyone know how to obtain a title in Mia.

Hi, guys. Since we are on the topic, I might as well as a question too! ;-) I have a mechanic from NJ selling me a roller for 1k, it's missing all fairings, upper stay, gages, ect. The rest is all there. he said a customer who got more $10k in customize work on his bike give it to him as part of payment, and never got arround to give the title. (basicly we dont know if it is hot) So HBBOY how do you check if the vins are clear? and for the rest of u. how do I go about getting a replacement or any kind of tile just for the frame (I will part it in case popos come looking for it, only loose frame). What do you recomend I do? I am in Miami, Fl. I got some pics, but dont know how to post

simply put, run the VIN numbers on FDLE's website to see if they're hot. if they are, just keep quiet and dispose of em. if they're not, cool.

Hey thanks a lot King, Does it matter that the bike is from NJ.? I will try it out and report on my finding for wvwryone in the forum. You know the deal, knowledge is power, and if it is not power at least it can save you some $MULA$
