2005 gsxr600 motor in 1998 frame

can anyone tell me whether or not i can fit a 2005 gsxr 600 motor in my 1998 srad frame? the 2005 motor is complete, including complete wiring harness, cdi/ecm and ignition. actually started it this morning for just a second on my workbench. just want to know if this is possible before i have my old bike shipped here from arizona. if i had my 1998 here i could just take some measurements. i tried asking my mother to measure a few things but all i did was confuse her. so i'm asking you guys can i do this or not? please let me know something soon i'm dying to get back on the road. thanks john

It's not a direct bolt in. You'll have to fabricate mounts and probably do a bit of cutting and welding. If you want to put a 1000 in there, here's a good link on how to do it from start to finish:
