FI light and Oil light problem!

I just notice that my FI light came on , and the oil light symbol came on when coming to a stop at the light. then once I get into neutral it seems to go off or if you get a bit of throttle the oil light would go off. It does not come on when your riding it just at a stand still but if you give it some gas like raising the rpm up a bit it goes away. I put it into dealer mode and got No code C00 with the light on and the bike running and then I tried to kill the bike but did not turn it off same code C00

The oil level is fine too what do you think this problem can be. its a 99 gsxr 750

I cant help you with the FI light. The only thing I can suggest is to run some FI cleaner through the system. As far as the oil light, the problem you descibe sounds like low oil level. Recheck your oil level. When was the last time you changed your oil and filter? If you roil is fresh and the livel is right, you might have an oil pump going bad or an oil pressure sensor.

Your sure the light was on when you checked the codes? The older bikes were very picky about reading codes. It has to be on before you can find out what it is. The oil light may bee linked to the same error.

I agree with Rider. Low oil level, or bad oil press sensor. My only thing on the sensor is usually they go bad and are bad all the time. I'm thinking oil level.

Check your manual on the proper way to check the level and get back with us.

well I went to my buddies shop today and was talking to him and was describing my problem to him. He happens to have a spare 750 motor for my year bike and told me to change my oil filter to a oem filter cause I had some aftermarket on on there he said something about the pressure relief something might have gone bad in there and etc.

He also gave me a oil pressure sensor I think its called it screws into the block or the I believe or right by the oil filter area anywho. I put the filter on and that pressure sensor thing and drove the bike for like 1 hour and went home and had no problems so hopefully that was it.

That's great but personally I would have done one of those options at a time. Now you don't know which one fixed the issue.

Might not make a lot of sence but I had 04 Honda RC51 and had exactly the same problem. I could not figure out what was going on untill I checked the battery. Positive cable was loose and after tightning it was running fine.
