2006 gsxr 750 no power

has anyone heard of the 06 gsxr 750 about any powere problems like lacking in the ability to do a wheelie or rolling burnout, and also i have a weird backfire that sounds like it is cause by my exhausts butterfly staying closed when i am getting into the throttle but i asked my dealer about it but they said that i was crazy about what i was explaining to them
any help or sugestions on what could be wrong would be greatly appriciated
thanks

I have a GSX-R750 K6 and I have no problem lifting the wheelie or any burnouts. Maybe you got a lemon. As far as the dealer saying you were crazy, "that was very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend you buying anything from that store again" Also let the manager of the store know what you are going through.

yea i already talked to the manager and the owner of the store to let them know what was going on and they didnt seem to care then i took it to another dealership from around my area and they also didnt seem to worried about it, they told me to bad and that as long as nothing was mechanicly broken at the time they wouldnt try and diagnoise the problem unless i bought some aftermarket parts off of them to have installed also. yea i know kinda crappy if ya ask me but there the only 2 dealerships around the 2 hr drive distance that sell suzuki's. would anyone happen to know what the rear wheel hp is supposed to be so i can mabey take it to a dyno test day at a local motorcycle shop to see if mabey its a big diffrence in hp so i can at least start trying to trace the problem????

Man, that really just doesn't make any sense. Time for you to ask for the regional manager. Strange for them not to even want to diagnose the problem.
Question for you? Are you a new rider? what do you have them RPM at when you try to do a wheelie. Have you done a wheelie b4. As far as the back fire from the pipe, it has something to do with the fuel. You may want to put some cleaner in it or if you have time, drain the gas. You know that bike can only have Premium fuel right? Don't be putting on off brand crap in her or I'll have to come do something to you. Your bike is the same as mine and we know it's a thing of beauty.

premium gas only i know that is all that goes in to it thats all it ever gets. rpm wise for the wheelie it depends on allot of stuff really but it usualy has to be tached out or at least well about 10 000 for around 30 mph. not a new rider been rideing dirtbikes since i was 5 and sport bikes since i was about 18 19 somwhere in that neighbor hood and im 22 now.but yea the bike just feels like there is so many things going wrong at once and i know that all the problems i am haveing make me sound new and all but yea im not and it is realy starting to make me hate this bike i am already almost tempted to trade it in on a harley this year just to get on something that does what it is supposed to do

truff

sure its not user error? i freaked out when i first got my cbr cause i backfired on the highway and my bike stalled, and it kept stalling on my way home. Heard some crazy noises in my gear box so i didnt even both trying to toy with it myself, thought i got a POS bike. (was the second day i had it i believe).

turns out i ran out of gas and my gears were slipping cause i wasnt in first when trying to start it up a hill. I felt like such a dumbass, but then again i was a newb and the dealership guys were pretty good about it, even gave me a free tank of gas.

Ride it to the dealer, then have THEM ride the bike. See if they'll let you test ride a bike as well. Show them the difference between what it's suppose to do and what it's actually doing.

both dealerships told me that for them to look at the bike it would cost me at least 150 to look at it at my own expense and that if there is problems they find on it that suzuki will prolly not cover anything related to it

It's a brand new bike, it should have a 1 year waranty. You need to find a new dealership, or call Suzuki directly. Or do both.

Sounds like the dealer is yanking you around. Time to get physical with these goons. Rough them up.

I've only been around for like a week but that seems like your solution to everything. Naturally I agree.
