GSXR 600 vs. ZX-6R

Rode my buddy's 06 zx-6r. I am a little disappointed in gixxer. The zx-6r has a better pickup, although at high RPM's gixxer does better. I hope TRE will fix throttle responce problem with my gixer. Filter, PCIII and full exhaust is next. Maybe it is because I anly have little over 700 miles on my?

If it was an '07 6R, you wouldn't be saying that stuff. It's got more HP and rev range than the GSXR.

I just got an 07 gixxer and its got plenty of power for everday street ridding plus I think its more comfortable. The ZX6R is a race bike with lights. So choose your poisen.

The 06 gixxer six is shy up top imo, pc3 and i forget what slipon my dads friend has but his bikes front wheel just barley comes up in first on the power.
My r6 stock motor comes up harder in a full tuck.

The 636, technically, is NOT a racebike with lights. The gixxer is. But who cares.

I'd take an 07 ZX-6R. Those things are wicked fast. At the Daytona AMA SuperSport race, no other bike could keep up with them.

The front end is most hideous.

Sadly, I must agree.

If I were to acquire one (oh, how I can dream) I would attempt to mate a 636 front fairing onto it.
