Slipper Clutch

I got an OEM replacement slipper clutch installed. For Parts and Maintenance I paid 350 bucks. Great deal if I might say so myself. If you pay anymore that 400 bucks to have your clutch fixed on the new gixxer's you are getting robbed. Just some information for the future. As I am sure your clutch will go eventually sometime soon if you ride like me.

if your clutch went out that soon...either A)the clutch had a defect or B) you need to work on your shifting skills.....

best way to find out would be to google it.

but what it does basically is keep the rear wheel at the same speed as the engine...reducing engine braking....for the most part.

The bike has 10grand on it, so that'd be a lot of miles. It's kind of hard to suck at shifting a slipper. Oh well, it's good as new now.
