2000 GSXR 750 decision help

Hey everyone I'm looking for your opinion about a 2000 GSXR 750. Have you ridden one and how did you like it?

I currently have a 95 ZX6R and came acrossed a great deal for the 2000 GSXR 750 and am toying with the idea of getting rid of my bike to buy it. It was wrecked and bent the frame as well as other stuff so. I know where I can get a new frame for $350 and all the other damaged parts have been replaced. The guy wants 1500 for everything and then I would have to get a new frame. What do you guys think? I'm not afraid of putting it back together and I'm sure it will be in better shape than my 32,000 mile ZX6R.

I guess I'm just a bit tired of the little things that are wrong with my bike and I'm wanting something with a bit more power and I have always like the look of that GSXR.

Any opinions are welcome and apreciated!

Thanks
Joe

ok sorry I didnt write it out very clear! oops

My bike is fine running and a good bike although it is a fixed title from the bent subframe. It doesn't have the lower end power I would like in a bike but it does scream. It is a bit ill handling and in need of fork seals and adjusting. I have a friend that will buy my bike for $2000 I paid $1500 and invested alot of time and money fixing some things.

The bike I'm trying to decide if I want to buy is wrecked and needs a frame for $1500 and I can put it back together for a little more than $2000. It is a better looking bike and I know it has more power! I'm not worried about the transition to a more powerful bike and I'm positive I can handle it I've ridden 1000's before and was just fine! I'm just trying to see if anyone like the 2000 GSXR 750 and its fuel injection and other goodies! I'm a bit tired of playing with my carbs on my bike to get the most out of my bike!

Thanks again and I hope this clarifies it better!

Also My first idea was to borrow money from my dad to buy the wrecked bike and then sell it for a good profit but I'm really into the bike and I want to update the pig in my garrage. I'm not worried about rebuilding the bike or anything like that.

I would go for it. If you have someone lined up to buy your bike for 2000 you can buy the Gixxer, fix it, and have a better bike without spending a wlole lot of money.

750's have plenty of power almost the power as a liter bike but with the handling of a 600 so if you can handle the power of a bigger bike it is a pretty universal bike to own... especially for the age... I own a 01 750 and i was suprised at the power it had considering i was used to a 929 CBR before it... trust me they have grunt
