GSXR Frame

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone knows If a GSXR 750 and 600 frame are the same? I have a 2000 750 that has a bent frame and I was curious if a 600 frame would be a direct replacement?

Thanks guys!

Joe

As I remember the 750 GSXR's are the same as the 600's with the exception of the larger displacement. I'm not a gixxer ride so I may be wrong. Be patient I'm sure someone heres knows.

No, the frames are not the same. You will have to do some modding to get the 750 to bolt in but it can be done. You will also need the swingarm from the 750 due to the shock mount difference. All the wiring, ecu, and fueling will have to brought over also.

I know that a 2000 600 frame is different from a 2000 750 frame but I was under the impression that a 2001 600 frame was the same as my 2000 750. Could this be the case? I really only want to transplant the 600 frame onto my complete 750. I'm just trying not to have to spend any more money than necessary!

Thanks
Joe

What do you guys think about this frame? anyone know if the dent could be pulled out and if so where and how?

I was thinking if this frame is still considered safe by some of you guys then I might consider it at least till I can find a good frame and save up some money.

Sorry for the 20 ?'s but i'm trying to get a bike on the road asap.
Thanks Again
Joe
