Need help on shift light set-up

I have a 06 1000 can anybody help me set up my shift light?

1000 what? gixxer?

Check the manual, my man. That's where mine tells you how to set it.

However, if you're using it for redline warnings, you don't really need it. After you've ridden your bike a bit, you will know exactly where the redline is just by listening to the engine

It is nice to set though.

yes a gsxr 1000 06! If i have it why not use it?

SHould be in your manual then

Sometimes, especially at night, they can get a little distracting... but overall they are fine to use.

A lot of them now have variable brightness; mine does.

In the book it say's to push the shift light button what button are they speaking of??

On the gixxer 1k i don't know where it is. I'm sure it's on the console up there somewhere...
