New Busa, who's gettin one?

So now the 2008 Busa is out, so who's gettin one?

I put a deposit of 10K @ the dealer for the orange & black but told him i may change to the white after i see it in person.
Our dealer here will only get FIVE pieces in October then 3-4 months for the other shipment.

The price he quoted me for the K8 was around $12 without discount. i do get a special discount from him but he says as the invoice didnt arrive he cant give me a firm discount yet.
Anywaz who gettin and what color?

I just bought this months issue of Sport Rider that came with the special extra book all about the 08 Busa. That thing looks bad ass. Now if only I wasnt broke and I could actually handle a bike that big...

the a** end of that thing is hideous. It's a waste of money in this part of the country though, not really a twisty bike. Probably nice in the straight desert roads though.

Until the make some vast improvements, (i.e. more horses, lighter weight), I'll
stick with the one I have. Enjoy though, they are definitely a blast to ride.

YA THINK???

Although the Busa is a awesome looking machine, its not a handling one. Great iits a 1340 cc motor but my Gixxer is a 1333. So for me to buy one and sacrifice the handling I would say no. The Busa is impressive cant wait to see the new gixxer's.

I would absolutely love to buy the Busa but for my first bike it would be a lil too much. I think i'll get a 2000-2004 gixxer 600 for my first bike ride it around for about 2 years and then its BUSA TIME.

I cant wait for you to get your K8 busa and upload a .wav file so we can all hear the Beast Roar. I don't think i even need to say that we are expecting a lotta pictures of the bike.

Interesting.. do you change the block on your bike to reach 1333? whats ur Hp? im doing a 1070 conversion on my K2, project is nearly complete.
Okay the Busa is big but why do you think it handles crap? There's this english dude on track with an 04 busa who makes the fairings peel from how low he goes on the track. My K6 i used to bring it all the way down no problems. its not very light, there's some extra effort i agree but most bikes in the 90's were that way. I had a ZX9R and you would sweat buckets after a corner.

I have a modified 06 Busa. After seeing the pics of the 08, I don't like it. They made a ugly bike even uglier. Don't get me wrong I luv my busa, but I didn't buy it for its looks. I haven't lost a race on it yet.

Come to the gap, I can introduce you to a ton of people that can erase that statistic for you.
