Windscreen advice...

Never Mind, I was looking at a website that would allow you to purchase a red gradient windshield for an '03 SVS, but according to the Memphis shades website, they only make a clear and gradient black for the SVS 650 or 1000. So, red is not an option.

Ok this is the bike SV650S '06 in Red.

What would look better the memphis shades Gradiant Red or black? It currently has a clear windscreen:

That's the problem, I have to buy it to see how it matches... and if it doesn't I'm not jumping through the hoops to e-bay it. It's for an 06-07 SV, so it's gotta be close to the 06 red becuase nobody's colormatched the 07 red yet.

Or not color-matched at all.

but with a semi transparent w/s how close do I really need it to be... it is an '06 SVS, not a $10,000 show bike.

That's why I'm asking opinions... I dont' know if it's colormatched, or how close the colors are, go for it in red, or stay safe with black.

If it is color-matched, or at least close it would be totally hot... Then again, you can't go wrong with black.

Hey OSP if you look back at the original post, the blue bike / blue screen in the sample aren't color matched, but they don't look that bad. But I can't decide that's why I posted the poll.

You have enough black that either would go just fine.

Hold on... let me get my magnifying glass out...

I bought a couple 'color-matched' bits for my truck and had to promptly return them... Even though they looked perfect online, they were nowhere near when I got them. Is there any place that might have this thing local?

I've only been here about two months. only place I've shopped locally is Cycle gear, and the only windscreen they've got is the Puig Double bubble.

Did you try Puig or Zero Gravity?

Puig had a blue gradient for the SV, they may have red. Warning, they do not match well. I went with a clear double bubble because of that and my camera setup I had before I got the helmet cam. I think I still have it, I need to ebay that thing.

It really only made a difference on the interstate as far as protection, don't really have a want to get one for the CBR because of my dealings with the SV.
