You will lose power unless they are very small cans. Do you really want to add that extra weight? Seems like a dumb idea to me, but to each their own.

You can get one of those ugly a** laser exhausts that have like 4 exits.

If they were the stock cans that you saw, they would be an enormous amount of weight. Stock cans are effing heavy.

The msrp on a 2007 GSXR 1000 is $11,399 and if you wouldn't want it to get hurt, that's all the more reason to take it to the track. The track is a much safer place to go fast than the street.
Modern sportbikes, especially literbikes, are designed with the track in mind. Ever notice how the GSXR tagline is now "own the racetrack"?

not if you just want to cruise around, daily drive it and look pretty . dual exhaust doesn't get you any horsepower.

oh and to a previous poster, how could they be the stock cans, a GSXR has a single right exit exhaust.

No, the new gixxer has dual exhausts stock. They managed to get extra power out of them or else they wouldn't have done it I reckon.
Suzuki has been putting titanium cans on most of their gsxr range the last few years, already pretty lightweight.

Here's a big wallpaper gallery of the different colored new gixxer. I personally don't like the new look of them, I prefer mine.

I like DLIT's theory on the dual cans... It's so if you can sleep in them if your bike breaks down or you want to go camping.

ok so the 1000cc has dual stock...but these were not stock. the 600 doesn't have duals stock, which is what i would want to add.

again, as per my original post i saw it done on a 1000cc and want it on a 600 can it be done!

Hmmm...the only aftermarket dual exhaust I could find for the 2007 gsxr 1000 was this kenny roberts tuned one that doesn't even have a pic...

I would contact kenny roberts exhaust inc or whatever company it is that puts out his exhausts and ask about fitment. The headers will be totally different from 1000 to 600 so what you might do...is simply slip on the right side of the dual to where you current exhaust or slipon is, on the right side, and then have a dummy header leading the left side into your undertray to appear as if it's really dual.
Custom pipe-bending would be possible I guess, no idea how much that costs.

I REALLY think you'll get bad power results from this. From what I've read Suzuki had a bitch of a time pulling the extra power out of the duals and switching the hayabusa from dual to single exhaust requires a lot of tuning and still hurts the midrange.

All I can think of for ya, hope it helps.

i made someone cranky with this thread. they negative repped me!

had this post been made on my jeep or bmw board i might have neg repped someone too as dual exhaust usually doesn't do anything but add weight and expense to a vehicle.

i just thought it looked awesome on the 07 1000 gixxer and would want it on a 600 if i got one
