HEY MARKO! ? on gix

Have a question on a price.

I have a friend that has been riding cruisers for a long time, and now wants to add a sport bike to the stable for when he rides with the "fast" crowd. (sport bikers)

I have a co-worker that is selling his 92 GSXR 750. Looks a lot like marko's, got a leo vince pipe, other than that it's stock. Got 12K on the clock, and is in need of new tires. Pretty good shape overall, a couple scuffs and scratches, but no road rash, hasn't been down.
He's asking $2000. Does that seam like a fair price??

I know, he's ridden it less than 1K per year since he's owned it... hence the reason he's selling it.

Thats about on par with what it's worth. Unless its in OUTSTANDING shape he won't get much more than that for it. I mean absolutely MINT...which you say it isn't.

Good milage too. Incredible milage actually. Scuffs and scratches are gonna be normal for a bike of that age. (Just look at mine.) If it hasn't been down, thats amazing.

So....yes...2k is a fair asking price. Might even be able to knock him down a couple hundy...but dont beat the guy up over his asking price. It's pretty fair.
