After A Week On My Mv 1000r

I hopped on my 06' gixxer 1000 to run to the store and wow, i relized just how good this bike is!!! Dont get me wrong, i love my MV, worth every penny, a true focused 1 dimensional machine, goes fast around a track and thats it. but the fact is, if i could only have one bike it would be my gixxer 1000, amazing how close this bike is to the MV and it is a thousand times more comfortable, 1000 times more usable, 1000 times more dependable, only downside is its 100000 times more common!!!

after a full track day on the MV i found myself to be 2 tenths a lap quicker all day, i could probably pick up that 2 tenths on the gixxer as well with a little more suspension work, but im no racer, just have a taste for exotics, but man it just amazes me how good a bike the gixxer is for less than half the cost. If anyone out there is considering a high price exotic over there gixxer, if you can only have one stick with what you got!!!

not much point to this thread, just needed to show love for my little Suzi Q

I Think Suzuki makes great bikes in general.

O & by the way we need some side by side pictures of the Gixer and the MV.

I hear that. I went from a 00 gixxer 750 to 04 CRB1000rr (for a very short time) to an 05 R1 ~ 2500mi. Now I'm back to a 01 gixxer1000.

believe it or not the mv laid down 4hp more peak with only 3lb ft less peak, mv feels alot like a 2 stroke, very rev happy 1000cc, alot like an old bimota 500 veedue.
