Touchy Throttle 01 gixxer

On both my 00 gixxer 750 and 01 gixxer 1000 the throttle is very touchy. It feels real tight compared to the other bikes I've owned. Any one ever make any adjustments on one of these bikes?

there should be a lil play in the thottle. should be an adjust knob just below the throttle. there should be a second spot on the engine but not sure where at to keep the the slack even on the throttle cable.

Yeah check the slack adjustment on the throttle itself.

Damn this sounds famillar!!! I had the same thing and GasMan was right!! You need to slacken the cables make sure there is play in the grip. If you don't have enough adjustment in the handle then lift your tank and adjust the cables on the throttle body!
