I don't know but If I could I would make my bike so it could ONLY be started remotely without the keys.
It would help with theft and just be super sweet.

* Found this, but I'd want a custom setup...

My Scorpio arrived for Christmas and will be installed for the upcoming year. Not sure about the remote start thing and I don't see why it would ever be useful. It's not like you have to let a bike run a long time to warm up, and it certainly isnt to let the heater or A/C run before you hop on...

I wouldn't really want to leave my bike in neutral when parked.

Mine is almost always in neutral too, but I still see no need for remote start. Only reason I ever put it in gear is to prevent a possible roll or a steep grade.

That's exactly why I never leave mine in neutral...slight roll forward...kickstand releases...BAM. I leave it in gear and roll it slightly forward to "catch" and then put the kickstand down.

The only places I'm off my bike is when its in the garage/driveway or at a gas station. But I'd think remot start is just too cool.

Well my nuetral spurt was fed by some peeps in the past with the old controls on the big dogs had problems with their hand controls shorting out due to moisture problems. This would cause the starter to engage and with the bike in gear it would lunge forward and the bike would be on its side. Understand there are NO starting safeties on these customs. You wouldn't want the wiring to show.
