2006 Gsxr 750

Not sure if it's photochopped or what but found it on Gixxer.com forum... Looks like the shorty exhaust is the key this year...

What do you guys think?

What are the performance benefits of a short exhaust?? is it merely for aesthetics? it seems to be the trend for '06

If they can accomplish the same with less pipe, mabye thats why so short. The bike is cool. 750's are my favorite.

Don't forget about the weight savings from lees mass. The mufflers are a very heavy and almost not needed.

The plastic on the sides looks waaaaaaaaaaaay too fragile. I don't think that would hold up to a 120mph June Bug. Looks kinda funky too, with holes in odd spots. Other than that though, the rest is cool.

My guess on the small mufflers would be weight savings. It would also help centralize the weight of the bike. I wonder what the aftermarket cans will look like for this and the new '06 R6.

They would have to keep with the design for fitment.

I'm with Jeeps on this... you can see this with the 06 1K...the aftermarkets are staying with the design of the manufactures...

There are some odd holes in those fairings. But it still looks better than any of the other big 4.
