I got a 05 and love it. No need for a new one yet.

I read somewhere they have a slipper clutch. What's the diff? I also read it's similar to a dry clutch. I had a dry clutch once on my gixxer but it really wasn't much of a difference compared to a wet clutch (other than the constant noise).

The slipper clutch allows hard down shifts with out the wheel hop if done improperly.

I don't think the GSXR's have slipper clutches. I know Yammie does now.

Straight from Suzuki
Back-torque limiting clutch allows smooth downshifts, plus a rack and pinion operating system provides more positive clutch feel

Call it what you will.

Nice Bike

I looked at one the other day in the dealer. I love the way they look, if I was going to buy a new bike that would be the one i get. I love they way they set, feel, and look. Beautiful bike.

Life is short ride fast.

I sat on a 06 gixxer 1000 a few months ago and I gotta say it was the most comfortable one I sat on. It's just that tail...I kicked it everytime I got off it.
