Best looking SV650 kit

I have to admit that at first I wasn't feeling the looks of the sv650, I guess because I liked the firebolt more, at the time. Well after finding out they fall apart, and are not good starter bikes, I really started to look harder at the sv650. And then I discovered that they sell an ass load of really cool parts for them.

I hope I am not useing the wrong wording "kits" just seems like it fits, but if anyone is confused, I am talking about plastics that change the look of the bike.

So what does everyone thnk looks the best? There are so many, and I want some opinions. Also where is a good place to look with pictures from all angles?

Is there anything I should know? Are these parts crappy?

check out svrider.com, and sv650.org. They have galleries on galleries of modified Sv's. Links and descriptions too. there are some really nice sv's with RS250 bodies on them.

Plastics? Are you talking about the SV650 or the SV650s? I don't think the naked one would look good with a fairing on it. I went stock with my fairings. Hot Bodies makes an awesome undertail. Coolest plastic mod I have seen is someone put an 05 GSX-R front fairing on an 05 SV650s to create the GSV-R 650. I think they have pics of it on svrider.

I have two pics of mine in my photos.

So you are saying that your bike? And thats a SV650, if so thats freaken hot man, I love how that looks. But you are also saying that if I plan to do this, I should go with an sv650s? Thanks I will look for one.

you dont have to have the 's' model to do this mod, but it lets you skip a few steps if youre gonna put an aftermarket body on.

No that's not my bike, I would of bought a GSX-R 600 if I wanted it to look like a GSX-R. He probably paid more to make a SV look like a GSX-R than it costs to actually buy a GSX-R. The bodywork on the two bikes does not match out so he had to do a lot of work to get it to fit properly. I think he actually paid someone to do it as well, the labor alone would of covered the upgrade to a GSX-R.

Are you wanting to make it more of a sport bike or a street fighter? What do you want it to look like?

This is an old pic of my bike, I really need to update this to get rid of those silly stickers.

Hey guys, i got in a wreck with my sv650s and it needs new fairings. Where can i find body kits for the 2002 model SV? I check out sharkskinz and all they have is 2003 + model stuff - are the 2 models really that different, or can i use a 2003 biody kit on my '02 bike?
