Exhaust question...

This is going to be a big month for me. I am set on getting probably a clear puig double bubble and maybe some progrips, but I am going to get a pipe as well. I was thinking a Yoshi TRS slip on. Is there any other noticable difference between Stainless and Titanium besides weight?

Titanium will turn all its colors relatively quickly.... and the steal shouldn't change at all... if it does, not for a while.... As you already know you smart pants engineer is the weight is the biggest difference.... maybe the weight and size will develop different power gain (or losses) or exhaust notes... but mainly weight

Awww... but the blue tint of the titanium would look sweet with your blue SV!

I had a titanium Micron and loved it! Its just that the titanium scratches easy and when it does you can't polish it out like many others!

i wouldnt worry about weight.....its what...maybe a 3-4 lb difference?....your not racing the SV in a moto GP race anytime soon.....you wont notice at all!....lol

I like titanium ALOT...BUT...as GM mentioned....its more expensive initially....and when it scratches...its noticeable and almost impossible to buff out....too much maintenance....

I chose stainless and am very happy with it thus far...polishes up NICE!

titanium might have a slightly bassy tone compared to the stainless....very minute difference though.

Will post pics of my stainless as soon as I put it on, haven't ordered it yet, but it won't be long. Gonna wait a couple days to see if something else in my personal life went through or not before I order it.

Better than the oval actually, the tri goes pretty good with the lines of the bike.

Consider the Leo Vince instead. Man, the Leo would make the SV sing like it's Pavarotti!!!
