i just heard that suzuki is doing away with the katana this year that bites . I have a hard enough time finding parts fore my 89 kat. R.I.P kitty

Well they sell a bazillion GSX-R's a year, but Suzuki needs their same engine in a non-race bike. Like Yamaha has the R1 and FZR and Honda has the RR and 919. If Suzuki put the 750 or 1000 Gixxer engine in a lightweight frame with comfortable seat and handlebars, they could sell a billion of 'em.

And they need to at least get rid of the bug face look on the new kats. Why do they even need the kat when they have the SV650 and 1000?
