Don't know where that was, but I was at a hill climb similar to that this weekend. Kinda cool seeing what they do to bikes to make 'em go verticle!

There was one with a GSXR1000 engine shoved into a 450R frame!

I have seen similar machines with turbo Busa engines in them... Pretty much anything goes with those things.

Now, I can understand having people along the side to catch the rider, but did you see how many of those guys jumped in front of the bike? Fluck that bike, that thing could cartwheel down the hill and break into a million bits for all I care.... I'll be damned if I am jumping in front of it... Who's crazier, the dudes climbing the hill, or the dudes catching the bikes?

Generally the bike catchers are only trying when it first stops climbing, to stop it from hitting the rider, or any of the other "catchers" or spectators.
But yeah, crazy either way, and generally they get hurt more than the riders themselves.
