Cheap Turn Signal Mod

Used a pair of tag bolt LEDs from WalMart and a couple of angled brackets.

Wouldn't amber LED's be a better option?

Yea, but for some reason the local stores dont carry amber. I plan on ordering some amber LEDS n replace the ones on the tag bolts in this mod n then do another mod with 6 LEDs.

I thought the generic mod for that bike was making the running lights in the corners of the headlight into turning signals? Shoot,I can't remember... Looks cool tho' can other people see them?,not that anyone looks mind you...

That's a good way to increase frontal visibility when you have flushmounts... I should look into doing that...

lol those things are SOOOOO not visible... 1 red LED electrode in the headlight housing on each side... you can't see em from a foot away, but they make it legal!

yea I seen it some place but havent found it since And I'd say 'if' one was looking they'd see these. I walked way out in the yard n still seen them with no problem. These are the cool/cols rainy months, so many mods may get tried b4 warm weather returns

Yeah I know Pickle but you don't need them in Michigan. Trust me I know... my chop won't have any in the spring... at least in the front.
