Seat to big, A-- to small.

LOL I bet you guys have never heard this question.

Just got a zx9.
OK to make a long story short I'm 130 pounds wet when I'm on the bike I have about 6 to 8 inches before my back side touches the passenger seat. Last night I had my wife get on the bike with me in the garage and she slid down to my seat not really but she could if I ever had to make a quick stop. I can move back on my seat but I know it's not going to make for a very enjoyable ride for me. Any thoughts? I know don't take the wife on rides it makes it harder to pick up chicks

Thanks
Gene

And google custom motorcycle seats. There may be a custom shop in your area. They can buildup the back of your seat so you can sit further forward, and make her seating area a little larger.

I owned a 9R and yes the rider seat is big. But it works well. You may just need to back up off the tank.

Let me ask...

How many times have you smacked the family jewels on the tank?

HAAAAAAAA! Today? or Yesterday? I hear ya but when I move back it really begins to bother my arms and hands. It's not that big of a deal yet I have about 30 days before she can ride with me, it may be a good winter project.
