Ugly Battery Box needs to go.

I just don't care to see it, most would not ever notice it but I think it stands out. It doesn't look like I can move the battery back or under the rear seat so does anyone make a nicer box. I know I should just leave it alone but it bugs me.

If it's the contrast that you feel stands out, have you looking into coating it so it looks the same crome as the other pieces surrounding it? They use the black plastic for corrosion resistance and price. I don't think you'll find something that looks better or fits better.

Have you consider getting some type of cladding to go behind the subframe rails? Like some polished metal or maybe even some alum diamond plate? That would even cover up stuff like rear brake resv and other crap.

That's one option to do. You could get a chrome cover to go over it. Probably would have to be custom made. I've seen some undertails and inner finders painted to match the bike. This doesn't look bad either. I've also seen some sealed batters laid down in the same area with new custom smooth inner finder painted to match. Plenty of options if you have the time, talent money.

All good ideas guys. I like the paint thing. My employer does own a metal fab place I may be able to have them bend, weld something up. I would have to supply them with all the dimensions off my box and that can be a pain. May be worth looking into.
Take care
