Opinions on Scorpion Exhaust

A friend told me he has a Scorpion Exhaust for the 07 CBR600RR. He had it put on at the dealer and used it for six hundred miles(practically new right?). He's selling it to me for $200. I think it is a good deal, but wanted another opinion. Is there another exhaust that isn't expensive that would give me better results? Or sould I just get this one?

Please, no squid jokes

Wow! you are fast, you were haulin' @$$ when I past you.

You're not gonna find a new slipon for a new cbr for 4200 thats for sure

I like Trips setup tho. Looks real clean. And use search to check out mondo's new 1000RR. Some one will pipe in n remind what dudes name is

DLIT has a scorpion slipon on his R6... you could ask his opinion on the quality, fit, and finish of that brand.

$200 for a slipon is a killer price. You don't need it, but if you have the cash lying around, I would do it.

If you're tight on money, a slipon isn't the first mod I would make, though.

First mods I would suggest:

Performance and handling:
Stainless steel brake lines
HH sintered brake pads
Steering damper
Michelin Pilot Power tires
Pazzo shorty levers

Looks:
Fender eliminator
Flushmount front signals
Tank pad (Carbon fiber might look nice on your bike)
Rear seat cowl if one doesn't come with the cbr's
Remove stickers and reflectors (free!)

I got the scorpion on my K6 GSXR 600...love it. I took out the DB insert. It goes on no problem. Its pretty loud too. Only thing I noticed is I get an FI light every now and then when I turn it on, but I just turn the bike off and back on again and everything is fine. A Power Commander should fix that. PLUS the 1 time replacement warranty is pretty nice. For 200 is a good price for only 600 miles. A new one goes for like 350-400ish.
