Nana to Split Tail...

Well my tail conversion is almost complete. All it likes now is a undertail which should be here Monday, and paint. But thanks to a few zipties holding the tag on its ridable. Heres some pix of er throughout the process. I will post more when shes has her undertail, and the n when shes painted too.

I had to fabricate some mounts to hold the tail light thanks to who ever butchered the undertray I got. Worked out nice tho IMO.

These are the seats as I got em..

And this is the seats after I recovered them. Tip dont buy cheapa$$ covers but these will do for now.

And whala theres she is with her new tail.

Heres pix of the undertail n refab'ed tag bracket

Looks great. I'm guessing you are pretty happy with it. How much is it going to run you overall, if you don't mind my asking.

$315 subframe & tail fairing
$70 Seats
$25 Seats Covers
$50 Undertail
$41 Undertray
$60 Passenger Pegs
$70 taillight
$30 Frankenstein Bolts
$10 Tank/Seat Rest Bolts
$10 Pass. Peg Bolts

Total = $681.00

I haven't made my mind up on which way I want to go on the paint. $33 for a rattle can to match my color. $185 for a kit to paint everything that is yellow.

If you're going to drop that kind of cash on parts, do it right and get it painted the right way

Yea the $185 is everything needed minus a good painter

I'm think of fixing the upper fairing, and getting a solo cowl b4 I get any painting done.
